October

October has been a busy month so far. Between jobs, school, and fun activities Tanner and I are lucky to get dinner each night by 9:00. School sucks and I can't wait until it's over. Something way more excited than school, we got Disneyland passes a few weeks ago! They have been so fun and we are definitely getting good use out of them. October is a fun month at Disneyland, everything is decorated in Halloween and a lot of people dress up for the trick or treat.

Tanner LOVES surfing at Trestles. He usually goes on Monday nights when I'm babysitting but we finally got a free Saturday and went last weekend.
Tanner's grandmother past away the beginning of October. The service was very sweet and all the girl grandchildren got to wear her jewelry that day. She was buried in Realto which is inland about an hour. We were all standing in the shade most of the time because it was 110 degrees! We stepped out of the car and it was a dry heat. I told Tanner I it made me miss Utah in the summer time.

Once upon a time...

So I am so behind on blogging so here I am catching up! Tanner and I went to Six Flags about a month ago. It was INSANE! Seriously the scariest rides I have ever been on. One ride your going to fast and it starts to spin around a bowl shaped curve and your vision starts to blur and you literally feel like your going to pass out. It's the weirdest feeling!! Tanner and I were feeling so weird after going on a few rides. It wasn't that we felt like we were going to throw up or anything but our brains felt so compressed. We had the worst headaches(which I'm sure probably isn't a good thing). So the last ride we went on was probably the most intense roller coaster in the whole world! Seriously! I have never screamed so loud and for so long in my life. Its called X or something like that I can't even remember now. Its start off, you facing backwards while the coaster climbs up a steep hill, which you don't know how high because your facing the opposite direction. Every seat moves on its own which makes you twist and turn even more than usual. When you finally reach the top it drops you straight upside down and then goes on forever with twists and turns. I can't even explain to you how scary that fall was though because you don't even know it's coming and then you suddenly feel like your falling upside down to your death.

Joshua and Luke

Tanner and I babysat our neice and nephews last night. We attempted to go to the park that was literally right around the corner. If I knew if was so close we could have walked. Instead we decided to get all three kids in the car and drive. It was the craziest 5 minutes of my life! The boys were sitting next to each other in the back seat, Luke was upset that we didn't turn right on Lukey street. Joshua was insistant that we go straight through the light but Tanner and I were following the directions that Brooke gave us. As we started down the wrong street we decided to turn on some music and distract the boys. Joshua started singing and Luke started yelling that it was too loud. When Joshua heard that Luke didn't like his singing because it was too loud he began to sing even louder. Between the craziness Tanner and I were discussing whether we turned down the wrong street and if I should turn around or not. Joshua started yelling over Luke's screams that we had gone the wrong way. I told Joshua that I knew where I was going. He replied, "Ya your going the wrong way, that's where your going." All Tanner and I could do was laugh. We finally turned around and realized that indeed we had turned down the wrong street and Joshua knew exactly where he was going.
